This is "My Girl Molly"

                                                      * Molly came into my life in the Fall of 1998. This past August she turned 12 yrs. old *

She is gray around the muzzle, her hearing is not all that good, but she never fails to be at my gate waiting for me to come back home. She is the reason for my love of  the Lab! She has been a friend to me, a hunting partner, a playmate for my son, and most of all, a very loyal companion.  She was a "natural" when it came to hunting and obedience and at 12 yrs. old, she still looks to please everyone!  When I shot my first grouse, she was there to bring it back to me.  At the site of a gun, she waits with anticipation hoping that it goes off so she will have something to retrieve. She loved the gun and the site of feathers falling at a distance from the time she first saw them.      She has made memories that I will always remember!

She has been wonderful to my other Labs.. She washes them off when it rains, sleeps with Hanna every night, and still plays with them when she's able!

For the most part she still gets around pretty good, but I know old age has set in. I'm already dreading that day that I can't stop from comming, hopefully I'll get a few more years with her, but either way, I'll have no regrets about that wonderful fall day that she became mine!

I knew from that day forward, I would Always have a Labrador running around as part of my family!  They are the perfect dog for humans of all ages.... So,  I will give a special thanks to "My Girl Molly" for showing me that a Lab deserves the Top spot with AKC and for showing me that owning Labs can make you angry at times, make you sometimes wonder if you can make it through those puppy days, but then can turn it all around with something so goofy that you just have to *smile* and say to yourself............." I wouldn't trade it if I could"
